Op shop finds

Listening to: the Eurythmics
Watching: The Young Ones, season 1
Reading: 'The Importance of Being Ernest' by Oscar Wilde

Working at an op shop is amazing. Its pretty much the best job I've ever had so far. As well as searching through second hand goods all day, I can wear whatever I want (perfect excuse to bring out some vintage outfits!), the people I interact with are really lovely, and I also get to listen to awesome music all day. Phil Collins, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival... yes please!

It can be hard work sometimes, just like any other job, but its completely worth every second. Some of the things I have found have become staples in my wardrobe. I've found really random decorations in the 'brick a brac' section which I don't think I'll ever part with. Just the other day I came across this gorgeous ceramic rabbit-

Isn't he fabulous? I'm using him as a container for some of my brooches and some pens that were lying around my room.

Another item I found was a bag of vintage wrapping paper that was donated last week!

I love collecting vintage wrapping paper. You just don't get prints like this anymore

So much detail. Really lovely. I'm going to put some of these on my collage.

This post makes me excited about what I might find tomorrow at work :)

Stay tuned
